Pro Tip: Don't take your hands off the wheel

In 2010, Daniel Morad won the Rotax Karting World Championship in La Conca, Italy. Daniel started the final race in 13th place and made his way to the front on the last lap with 3 corners to go. 

What happened at the finish line? When Daniel lifted off the throttle, the front tracking rod snapped which resulted in a loss of steering. Having no hands on the wheel did not help! 

Daniel won the race despite this epic fail and this video made it multiple times on the show "Dumbest stuff on wheels".
