Please note that we will not issue any refund for this event. You are only allowed to transfer your ticket to the person of your choice, should you not be able to make the event. 

We are back for our second indoor edition and it promises to be even more rad!

What is it? A unique go-karting experience, Moradness Madness is the ultimate event for all race fans! This time, the karting endurance race will take place indoor! As always, you will be able to shop our newest Moradness collections. Food and drinks on site, lots of giveaways and exclusive prizes to the winning teams! 

When: Sunday, November 18th, 2018 (9:00AM - 2:00PM)

Where: Formula Kartways - 79 Bramsteele Road, Brampton, ON, Canada 

What's included: The entry fee to join the event is $100.00 CAD

This includes: 

  • 1 entry to participate in a karting competition (see details below)

*Guests are FREE to attend the race, shop the Moradness collection and enter raffles. 

You need to be 16 years old + to participate in the race. You will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if you are under 18 years old. 

Race

3 drivers per team will compete against each other in a karting battle royale for the ultimate Moradness Madness title.

New race format: Teams will be split into 2 groups, utilizing 8 karts per group. Group A & B will be split by lottery. Groups will practice, qualify, and will complete their first elimination race together. The top 4 finishing teams from group A and group B will be placed in the A Final, and the bottom 4 finishing teams will be placed in the B Final. Every participant will have equal track time. While one group is on track, the other one can enjoy the upstairs lounge area. 

You can create your own team of 3 and sign up using our team registration option, or you can sign up individually and be randomly paired with other individual registrants. 

As we are evolving our event format, Daniel Morad and other pro drivers will be assisting teams with coaching tips and help when needed. 

8:30am - 9:15am: Arrival, meet & greet, shopping, food

9:15am - 10:00am: Group separation lottery, presentation and briefing 

10:00am - 10:25am: Practice Session - Group A

10:25am - 10:50am: Patrice Session - Group B

10:55am - 11:00am: Qualifying (2 lap shootout) - Group A

11:05am - 11:10am: Qualifying (2 lap shootout) - Group B

11:20am - 11:45am: Race 1 - Group A (approx. 60 laps with 2 mandatory pit stops)

11:55pm - 12:15pm: Race 1 - Group B (approx. 60 laps with 2 mandatory pit stops)

12:30pm - 1:00pm: Final race - Group B (approx. 90 laps with 2 mandatory pit stops)

1:05pm - 1:35pm: Final race - Group A (approx. 90 laps with 2 mandatory pit stops)

1:45pm - 2:15pm: Podium, prizes, team spirit award, pictures, shopping

Rules

 *Individual regular value of $250.00 - You will receive 2 detailed emails with important information regarding the event in October and November 2018. 

*Tickets are transferable but non-refundable. If you have purchased your ticket  but can no longer attend the event, it will be impossible for us to refund your purchase, due to team and track commitment. You can however give or sell your ticket to the person of your choice. You will need to let us know as soon as possible, regardless of the option you choose. 

*Kids are welcome to attend, however please note that it is not a kids' event. Supervision or entertainment will not be provided. You are responsible for the supervision of your children. 

*Allergy statement: on-site catering may contain or come into contact with wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, mustard, soya, fish and shellfish. We advise not to eat the food provided during the event if you are allergic to any of these allergens. 

Team Spirit Award

We're bringing the Team Spirit Award back! This will be awarded to the team with the most originality, chemistry, team work and who truly represents what Moradness is all about! What is that exactly? Being bold, unique, stylish, outgoing, kind and adventurous. 

You will be judged on: 

  • Team name (be original).
  • Team outfit or accessory (keep in mind that helmet are mandatory while in the kart. They will be provided to you by the track).
  • Unique signage to signal team members for upcoming pit stops.
  • Sportsmanship on and off the track and during pit stops - a.k.a don't turn anybody's engine off!
  • Your team promotion on social media prior and during the event using the hashtag #moradnessmadness 

*Individual entries will be paired into teams of 3 a few weeks prior to the event. This way, you will have time to meet and talk to the other team members and get ready to participate in the Team Spirit Award.
