These gloves make you look good, even when you run out of talent in the rain at Mosport Karting Centre.
These gloves are great, and the curved fingers really help improve the comfort when gripping the wheel. I grabbed a set of these at the last event of the 2021 Moradness Karting Championship at CTMP, busted them out of the packaging, slapped the sticker on my helmet and SENT IT. In the heat of the 1st race, and the rain during the 2nd race that day I had a good grip on the wheel.
Well well well here I am finally getting around to writing this review! These Lumberplaid gloves are the third pair (Black and Stickerbomb being the other two) that I have purchased in the last 6 months and just beware, once you start buying them you will only want to buy more! There are so many good things that you can say about these from the quality of construction to the awesome designs, but I do really want to focus on the comfort of these gloves. One of the main reasons I initially bought these gloves was that the soft rubber on my sim wheel was starting to make my hands raw over long racing sessions. I was hesitant to try gloves because I didn't want to lose any feel from the wheel and was concerned that it would be difficult to press some of the small buttons on the wheel. My concerns were put to rest almost immediately and I was blown away with how amazing these gloves feel! They felt natural and there is no trouble whatsoever selecting any small buttons or dials on my wheel! To add to this with the recent change they made adding a natural curve to the fingers it has only improved an already great product! Look, if you're on the fence about buying a pair just do it, you won't regret it all! Oh and I can confirm that you do indeed get 2 tenths of second improvement in time with these bad boys on ;)
